An Introduction

Hi everyone.

So I'm a hobbyist photographer, who recently started shooting photos in infrared only using a Panasonic DMC-TZ10 I modified by removing the IR blocking filter and installing an IR-Pass lens.

I'm hoping to use Steem platform to share these photos with you all, and perhaps write up how various camera modifications I perform work as I experiment with this field of taking photos using spectra of light usually invisible to the human eye.

I would really appreciate feedback on my work, especially if anyone else has experimented with this kind of stuff before. At this time, I do no post-processing of the images and just upload directly from the cameras SD card, but if anyone has any hints there, I might experiment with that later.

Finally, I leave you with this photo from last night, of a red rose, except seen using only the infrared portion of the light spectrum.
