Greece trip- 2. day in Delphi

After visiting the Meteora Monasteries we drove to Delfi - The oracle in Delphi was one of the most importans places in the ancient Greece.
Herodotus( the first historian) wrote: King Croesus wanted to know, who will win, if he will start a war against the persian empire . The answer was, that he will destroy a big empire. As a matter of fact the oracle means his own empire.

The atmosphere in delphi is unique, if you can imagine that thousands and thousands of people came there from far away, only to ask the oracle and btw. the view is not bad ;) !

The climbing was stressful because it was really hot

the acoustics is really good... you can understand the guy perfectly if he talks in normal volume
