ITS SO HOT

In case anyone wasn't aware, the UK is currently experiencing a heatwave.
Whenever it gets hot in the UK basically everything comes to a standstill as we don't have the correct infrastructure to deal with this, like indoor AC in houses and what not.
Instead we get by on wearing not much, getting sun burnt and fans.

Many many fans....

To be honest, as helpful as they are in a pinch, after a while they make me a little dizzy. Also after a while the effect wears off and it's basically propelling hot air at your face.

Which has made me wonder why don't houses in the UK install Air Conditioning? Shops have them, and surely considering a few months of the year its unbearable, it could be a good investment?

Then again, knowing our luck, as soon as they get installed, we wouldn't need them anymore!
