Chapped lips
Human emotions
I just want to articulate what is raw.
Temporarily real,
The cold winds
Will mark my lips
But just like the layers of our skin
The weather is always changing.
Reacting to such is me in charge.
Train to Paris in 2 days
A day I have imagined my whole life.
Can't wait to speak French
And see the Eiffel Tower
A trademark that marked my upbringing
Here I come
To a land of baguettes and croissants
I'm excited to drink hot chocolate
And soak in the land of love.
