Psalm 34
**_The divine protection
1I will bless the Lord at all times;
Your praise will always be in my mouth.
2 I will praise the Lord with all my soul.
Listen, humble people, and rejoice too!
3 Join me, and recognize your greatness!
Let's exalt his name to a voice!
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and freed me of all my fears.
5 Those who come to him radiate joy;
They do not have to hide their faces.
6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him
and delivered him from all his anguish.
7 To defend those who fear the Lord,
his angel encamped around them.
8 Test yourselves the goodness of the Lord!
Blessed is he who trusts in him!
9 You, your faithful ones, fear the Lord,
for those who fear him never lack anything.
10 The lion cubs scream with hunger,
but those who seek the Lord have everything.
11 My children, draw near and hear me;
I'm going to teach them to honor the Lord.
12 Who of you longs to live a long time?
Who wants to live and get to see good?
13 So do not let your tongue speak badly;
avoid that your lips profess lies.
14 Depart from evil and practice good;
seek peace, and do not abandon it.
15 The Lord does not turn away his eyes from the righteous;
his ears are always attentive to his cry.
16 The Lord watches over those who do evil
To erase your memory from the earth.
17 The righteous groan, and the Lord hears them
and delivers them from all their anguish.
18 The Lord is near to save
to those who have broken heart and spirit.
19 The righteous go through many afflictions,
but the Lord delivers him from all of them.
20 The Lord looks after every one of his bones,
and not one of them will be broken.
21 The wicked one destroys his own wickedness;
and those who hate the righteous will receive condemnation.
22 The Lord rescues the soul of his servants;
those who trust in him will not be condemned._**
