Early in the morning, he crept past me
Moving giddily as he crept on
Towards a shiny object of attraction

Now reaching for a fruit on a tree
stretching his hands, his heels upwards
He succeeds and eats it happily

Watching him sleep so peacefully
He once was like him

A baby grows to become a man
A baby grows to have his baby someday
A baby yearns fulfillment

Each day we strive to better ourselves
To improve on our sketches
To leave our foot marks in the sand of time.
