Golfeados: Recipe
Hey guys, today i want to share with you one of my favorites venezuelan desserts, Golfeados these are little bread rolls with cheese and papelón that is a sweet from the sugar cane used in Latin America. For me this is one of the best Venezuelan desserts. Here I leave you the recipe.
Hope you like it!
### Ingredients: 500 g cheese 800 g flour 200 g papelón 2 eggs 100 g butter 200 ml milk 150 g sugar 1 tbsp cinnamon 2 tbsp yeast 2 tbsp vanilla 1 tbsp salt 1/4 water 1 tbsp anise
### Preparation:
Melt the papelón with 1/4 cup of water.
Mix the milk with 2 tablespoons of papelón, eggs, 100 g of sugar, yeast, butter, flour, vanilla and anise, then knead the dough on the table and spread it in a rectangular shape, add the papelón, the rest of the sugar, cinnamon and cheese on top.
Roll the dough carefully and then chop into 3cm pieces, let rest for 90 minutes on a baking sheet and add water in the spaces between the golfeados. Bake for 25 minutes at 180° C, remove and spread papelón over each golfeado, bake for 5 more minutes.
Hope you have a nice week!
