Steemit Failing?

Found this post from over a year ago predicting the doom of Steemit, but not for the reason we are seeing today.

Hopefully the founders can figure this out soon, and stop the bleeding. If not, it's been a good ride, but unfortunately one the naysayers will point to regarding a "block chain" fail.

If this community meets an untimely death, it will be 2 for 2 for me this year. My lovely dog of 4 years succumbed to acute kidney failure. A very untimely death. Keep on Marshall into the next life.
