Selfless generosity

It is important not to associate generosity with the desire to obtain some kind of benefit, as this would lead to false generosity.

True generosity is completely selfless, although it can easily be confused with its more superficial version.

Many companies that act out of selfishness make large donations and seek to project themselves as altruistic and generous, but behind these actions there is often an interest in obtaining some kind of return.

We often distort the nature of generosity, because although we talk about it as a value, we hide the genuine feeling that should accompany it.

For example, we can give something to someone, but if we do so expecting something in return, it is clear that the act lacks the authentic essence of generosity. This should involve zero interest and absolute honesty.
