Pequeños gestos, grandes cambios •|• Small gestures, big changes [Esp/Eng]

La semana pasada, un colectivo de la comunidad de Cantarrana, Cumaná, Estado Sucre demostró una vez más el poder de la unión y la generosidad al realizar una maravillosa donación a nuestra querida escuela especial. Con gran entusiasmo, entregaron pinturas, clavos y brochas para poder embellecer la fachada de la escuela. Pero no solo eso, su apoyo fue más allá: convirtieron el día en una fiesta inolvidable llena de amor y diversión.

Last week, a group from the community of Cantarrana, Cumaná, Sucre State, once again demonstrated the power of unity and generosity by making a wonderful donation to our beloved special school. With great enthusiasm, they delivered paints, nails and brushes to be able to beautify the facade of the school. But not only that, their support went further: they turned the day into an unforgettable party full of love and fun.

Los voluntarios organizaron actividades recreativas que arrancaron sonrisas a cada uno de los pequeños. Desde juegos adaptados hasta bailes y dinámicas grupales, los niños disfrutaron de un espacio donde la inclusión y la alegría fueron las protagonistas. Además, los más pequeños lucieron diseños coloridos gracias a la divertida sesión de pinta caritas, que les permitió convertirse en sus personajes favoritos por un día. Para las más coquetas hubo peinados que las dejaron como las reinas que son, es que tan solo verles las caritas de felicidad era para llenarse de gozo.

Volunteers organized recreational activities that brought smiles to the faces of each of the children. From adapted games to dances and group dynamics, the children enjoyed a space where inclusion and joy were the protagonists. In addition, the little ones wore colorful designs thanks to the fun face painting session, which allowed them to become their favorite characters for a day. For the most flirtatious there were hairstyles that made them look like the queens they are, just seeing their happy faces was enough to fill us with joy.

El profesor de deporte quien tiene muchas dinámicas de le ocurrió realizar unas con las personas del colectivo para que así también ellos fueran participes de las actividades, al principio estaban algo penosos pero entre los aplausos y porras de los niños se animaron; todo empezó con muchas risas y se confundían pero ellos siguieron para dar ejemplo de que la constancia tiene sus frutos y al final salió bien, ellos también se divirtieron y estoy segura que se llevan una grata experiencia al compartir con esos niños tan maravillosos.

The sports teacher, who has many dynamics, came up with the idea of doing some with the people of the group so that they could also participate in the activities, at the beginning they were a little embarrassed but with the applause and cheers of the children they cheered up; everything started with a lot of laughter and they were confused but they continued to give an example that perseverance has its fruits and in the end it worked out well, they also had fun and I am sure they had a great experience sharing with these wonderful children.

Para cerrar con broche de oro, compartieron una deliciosa merienda preparada con mucho cariño, donde no faltaron las frutas y jugos cuidando la dieta especial que amerita está población de estudiantes. Este gesto no solo alimentó sus cuerpos, sino también sus corazones, creando momentos de convivencia y felicidad que quedarán grabados en su memoria.

To close with a flourish, they shared a delicious snack prepared with much affection, where fruits and juices were not lacking, taking care of the special diet that this population of students deserves. This gesture not only nourished their bodies, but also their hearts, creating moments of conviviality and happiness that will remain engraved in their memories.

Todos los que hacemos vida en la institución y los representantes agradecemos profundamente al colectivo por su invaluable apoyo y por recordarnos que, cuando una comunidad se une, puede transformar realidades. ¡Sigamos trabajando juntos por una educación inclusiva y llena de oportunidades para todos!
