Hi everyone.
I’m an Irish reporter, editor, proofreader, and translator (French to English).
I’ve been a journalist for about forty years. I was a sub-editor at numerous newspapers in London and worked for many years for the Irish Press and the Irish Times as their London correspondent. I have worked for several news agencies and for Radio France International. I still do radio reporting when big stories break.
For the past seven years, I have been running my own website, Changing Times, which is focused mainly on environmental issues, human rights, and health.
When I manage to create the space to do it, I also write poetry.
I am currently in Kuala Lumpur. I have spent most of the past five years in Malaysia, but have spent about half of that time travelling, mostly to Indonesia, Australia, and India.
I provide several services for other writers. I can give general guidance, helping other writers to sharpen their prose, and am available to edit or proofread completed texts.
I help bloggers to write more professionally and have also been assisting people running NGOs, helping them to write better press releases and clear, concise posts on social media.
I have noticed quite a few typos and grammatical mistakes in the posts I have read so far on Steemit so do get in touch, bloggers, if you need some guidance or an experienced editor.
I also help people with their CVs and grant applications.
