Brickway Hef!
For this weeks #beersaturday post, I decided to go back to my favorite brewery, brickway! (For those of you who are familiar with my posts, big shock, right?)
Before drinking this, I assumed all wheat beers were the same. This one is the exception however. In the description, it tells you how they use real Bavarian yeast to give it a nice banana aftertaste! I was not expecting that! What a pleasant surprise!
Definitely one of the best wheat beers I have ever had! If you’re in Omaha, or they sell this in your neck of the woods, give it a try. It’s a great beer for warmer weather!

Sounds good, you went to a brewery you have never been before??? ;)
I used to think I liked hefes but the more I drink them the less i like them. Not sure why, maybe because I seem to have an issue with wheat lately.
I’m with you. I think most hefs taste the same but this one broke that trend. I’d be curious to see what your review is with this one. Especially since I’m impartial to brickway :)
Mmmm, this sounds nice, the banana aftertaste can be very nice in a beer, I like the can, but it is not as nice as some of the other more arty cans they have, which you reviewed before... But the main thing is it tasted nice! Happy days..
You're absolutely right with everything you said. This is there regular session series that they sell year round. They usually reserve the awesome artwork for the seasonal brews. They have a pretty awesome artists rendering of a map of Omaha's Old Market district on these cans which are still pretty cool.

These cans are cool too to be fair, but the seasonal ones are just better! If I ever get to Omaha, I will be sampling some of these Brickway brews for sure..
