My Actifit Report Card: July 13 2025 Smart Glasses run at Live Oak Park
This will mark my first Actifit run with my Rayban Meta AI Smart Glasses. This time we are at a familiar place, Live Oak City Park.
Just a reminder, I am prepping for my first marathon in December. I've run about a third of the 27 mile distance on one of my longest runs but it was anything but fast. That is where this conditioning will come into play.
Daddy needs a new pair of shoes 🎲
What made this run particularly brutal was not the heat but rather the UV. I had to reapply sunblock at least a few times and take a couple shade breaks. Nevertheless, I made it through it.

What the hell? Those shoes were done way before that black piece came off!
Hey Homie, if you’re running on cement and you’re gonna do a marathon, you need new shoes. Your knees will thank you for it. ❤️🔥
They were New Balance shoes but guess they are now Old Balance. Lol
Oh yeah, Ive used those NB running shoes before. I liked them. Lasted long for me too.
