anyone for tea?

I knew the tea was hot. But never hot enough.
Another person irritated me. She was being mean to someone weaker than her.
I pushed the trolley into her with one swift movement.
The hot tea went scuttling all over her.
She screamed in pain.
I was more shocked than her.
What had I done?
Through all the fuss, I slipped away.
I hid in the toilet shivering and sniffling with fear.
No one came for ages.
The screaming girl was covered in cold clothes and attention.
Eventually they came for me.
Nothing happened. The girl was fine. The tea was hot.
Her skin was red, but she was OK.
I was ok. I wasn't going to be locked up or punished.
I got away with it.
That was close.

I needed to get out of that madhouse.
I was being affected.
I was going mad.
