सीख सुहानी --

कीमत समझे ......

कुछ दिन पहले हमारे एक परिचित ने दस दम्पत्तियों के लिए छोटी सी दावत का आयोजन करना चाहा । उन्होंने फ़ोन करके सभी को सूचित किया और सभी की हां सुनकर तारीख और समय तय करदिया। हमारे साथ पांच - छह दंपत्ति समय पर पहुंच गए थे और हम बाकी का इंतज़ार करने लगे । एक घंटा बीत जाने पर भी कोई नहीं आया तो मेज़बान ने सबको फ़ोन लगाकर पूछा। एक मित्र ने फ़ोन नहीं उठाया, दूसरे मित्र ने कहा आज हमारा मन नहीं है। तीसरे ने जवाब दिया हम आ जायेंगे पर खाना नहीं खाएंगे । मेज़बान मित्र को इस बात से बहुत ठेस पहुंची की उन्होंने कितनी मेहनत कर पकवान बनाये थे , तैयारिया की और उसके बाद इतना खाना बर्बाद हुआ । जो बात हमारे लिए बहुत छोटी सी होती है वह किसी का दिल दुख सकैती है। यदि किसी कार्यक्रम में किसी कारणवश न जा पाए तो समय रहते मेज़बान को सूचित अवश्य करे ।

A few days ago one of our acquaintances wanted to organize a small banquet for ten couples. They made a phone call and informed everyone and listened to everyone and fixed the date and time. Five to six couples had reached us on time and we started waiting for the rest. After an hour passed, no one came and the host asked everyone by phone. A friend did not take the call, another friend said, today is not our mind. The third responded, we will come and not eat food. The host friend was very upset that he had made a lot of dishes, made preparations and after that much food was wasted. Whatever is very small for us, it hurts someone's heart. If you can not go to a program for some reason, please inform the host at the time.
