City Embankment. Modernization.

Modernization began on our city Embankment in early summer. I've lived in this city for 35 years and this is the first time I've seen something like this.
The city administration promised a completely new embankment, comfortable and attractive for guests and residents of the city.
In the spring, the slope was cleared of shrubs and trees so that they would not interfere with the view of the river and the space beyond it.
All this should already look nice and tidy in early October. I hope that the contractors will be able to do everything by the right time. In our country, everything is not always done on time. But I hope everything will be fine.
But I didn't like that. For some reason, the rotunda was not converted into the best option. But I think that maybe the builders have a more specific modernization plan. As the classic said, we'll live and see what's ahead.
That's what made me happy. On this side, this temple was covered with bushes and trees, which made it difficult to take a photo. Now it will be possible to somehow play with the angle when the builders remove the building materials.
The most significant object of our city is the bell tower, but the view is not from the square, but from the street. It was from here that Tsar Alexander the Liberator was supposed to enter the city square. But this did not happen, the King did not come. Why would he travel fifteen hundred kilometers from St. Petersburg to our village?

It is heartening to see that the administration is actually fulfilling the promises made in its manifesto. The city's new look is truly beautiful; great things take time, and the good thing is that they are making the effort. :)
In fact, many are surprised by the renovation of the embankment.
All this is due to the federal program for the development of small towns. The tax system is built in such a way that there are few taxes on the ground, everything goes up to the state treasury. You need to travel and ask Moscow officials for money. This is called the Vertical of Power.
