Dry stacked brick fire pit

Had a lot of bricks & pavers lying around. Most where on the property when we got it. Decided a good use for them was a fire pit.

I wanted it to be big enough to cook in. Big enough to have a constant fire to make coals and an area to cook on the coals. Also so I can burn down a lot of the brush this yard generates. Went with a 6 foot diameter at about 1 foot wide wall.

Did a bit of levelling, figured out the final size and patern. Did my 1st row. Put down a few yards of gravel, then went to work stacking them.

Now just have to do a test burn. ;-)
