The first Steemfest was organised in 2016. Steemfest is an annual meet-up conference which takes place in different countries, first steemfest took place in Amsterdam on 11, 12 and 13 November 2016.

It was Created by the software developer and event organizer Roeland Landegent (@roelandp) to bring Steemit users together and meet in real life.

This year it was third year of the steemfest and it was hosted in Poland. This steemfest was unique because of the speakers. Steem’s co-founder ned was the key attraction. Many dApps co-founders also made their presentations and it was overall impressive event
