Bitfinex has updated their status page at https://bitfinex.statuspage.io/ - I've pasted a screenshot of it below. They haven't updated their homepage yet.

Zane Tackett (https://www.reddit.com/user/zanetackett) from the Bitfinex staff is continuing to answer questions on Reddit.
