A Message to my Australian Jewish family & friends
Dear family & friends,
the people of Israel are praying for you at this terrible time.

[My long time friend Arsen Ostrovsky who thankfully survived.]
The Channuka Massacre was worse per capita for Australian Jews than Oct 7.
Yet by October 8 Israel had already killed more terrorists (1500) than people it lost (1200).
Israel has defeated its enemies, killing more than 60 terrorists for every IDF soldier lost.
The hostages are home.
Almost every Oct 7 terrorist is dead.
Their sponsors in Tehran & Qatar strategically defeated, Hamas &Hizbollah destroyed.
Israel is stronger, safer and more prosperous than it has ever been.
The Australian government abjectly failed to protect Jews yesterday with 4 police freezing and failing to return fire and backup police being slow to respond despite Bondi police station being 1 minute away.
The fact that an unarmed civilian had to act to prevent further killing is an appalling indictment upon Australia’s security services. I say this as someone who served in the Australian Army Reserve.
They ignored Israeli government terror warnings.
They ignored 3 burnt Shuls (synagogues).
They allowed violent anti-semitic protests when their brutality against Free Speech and Bodily Autonomy during COVID proves they can act when they want to.
They rewarded terror by recognising a fake terrorist state.
Now they are using the crisis to make it more difficult for law abiding Australians, including Jews, to protect themselves from criminals & terrorists, who will always be able to get guns.
Jews chose Australia because it was safe, prosperous & free - far from the troubles of the world.
Today none of these things are true.
Today Israel is safe, prosperous & free - a light unto nations in the center of the world.
It is time for Aussie Jews to come home.
We will welcome you with open arms and love and you will know that everyone around you will protect you and your children.
Chag Sameach

No one is safe in every place where there are people of the "religion of peace"...
I think you well know I vehemently disagree with you about many things, so I will not mention them here. I strongly agree - more strongly than I disagree about anything - with you about terrorism and the government of Australia mandating Australians suffer it by disarming them - and then failing to protect them.
It's horrific people suffer such violent brutality, and humanity cannot tolerate oppression that renders them helpless to it. The longer people suffer such oppression the more of them will suffer and die from it. Government oppression breeds terrorism by disarming people whom would defend themselves from it.
Thanks!

STOPMost people should be trained to respond to this type of misfortune; as did the civilian who disarmed one of them, because on countless times (it has happened to me) "when you need a police officer, he is not there."
Strength to those affected and the families of the victims.
May Israel continue with the excellent policy against extremists!
It's not fair, greetings
Condolences to those affected... Terrible time.
Its very difficult when the Australian government has disarmed law abiding citizens and only criminals & terrorists have guns.
A couple tried to disarm the terrorists when they first got out of their car but were shot and killed.
Thanks.
True!
But if a very firm hand is taken against extremism and violence then they can be managed. Israel & Russia manage to do so with their Muslim citizens.
The Western approach invites jihad.
Only if Muslims understand that jihad would most certainly fail are they allowed by Islam to engage in hudna, which is not peace, but can be a long term ceasefire.
that's true, the western countries fail dealing with this, i myself live in a fail example...
don't forget china too! educational camps looked pretty effective
It's unfortunate, that's what pro-Globalist "governments" do first, disarm citizens.
Thanks.
As I predicted the Aussie government is using this to further restrict guns & freedom of speech - the two anchor's of freedom in the US 1st & 2nd Amendments.
It is so utterly stupid because these Islamist terrorists have external support and guns can easily be provided to them by ISIS using a fishing vessel and drones to quiet pre-determined location along Australia's 60,000km long coastline.
There is no way to stop this.
The only solution is to allow law abiding, well trained and vetted citizens to have guns and be obligated to use them to protect their fellow citizens.
I think there are other ways to implement policy to resolve the problem of terrorism. When I consider the fundamental basis of government, I see that it is the agreement of sovereign people and nothing more. There is no rational, nor lawful, basis for government to have authority over the sovereign people whom agree to implement it, so neither is there any authority to allow or disallow sovereign people by whom government is authorized, to defend themselves. Personally, I'm a fan of evolution, so I'd simply get government out of the way and no longer impede people whom arm themselves, train, and attend to their duty to society as they see fit, and let evolution sort things. In life we often face obstacles to our comity, and either overcome them or suffer the consequences. This has evolutionary consequences, which create fitter people and stronger society.
Too many people shy from their responsibility to exercise their absolute authority, which too often allows authoritatianism to oppress free people. This is also an evolutionary pressure that presently acts to generate people capable of overcoming such disruption, as Ahmed al Ahmed demonstrated by disarming an armed terrorist with his bare hands despite being shot twice. That heroic performance of societal duty despite being hamstrung by oppressive government further demonstrated the utter failure of handing over our responsibility to secure ourselves to authoritarian government, because police failed to take any action while the terrorist was disarmed, and that failure allowed the terrorist to re-arm.
Government is the sole vector of terrorism and sovereign people themselves are the only possible solution.
