In progress - Learning the Hive

This post is an attempt for me to learn about blockchain, Web3 and smart contracts. I was recommended hive via a reddit user. I believe it is a platform to socialise with family, friends and people with similar (naughty) interest without having to worry about being tagged in a compromising position.

When I created my account, I only browsed through communities and glance at random profiles. With a bare profile, little to no activity, I received a notification of a new follower. Baffled by the sudden increase, I decided to investigate.

On my new "friends" page I saw he was apologising to a community for spamming or unfavourable posts. I was starting to understand the concept of Hive power, however the hive wallet is still in learning in progress, how to acquire Hive token, gain Hive power & earn Hive dollars.

I recently found a useful video that explains the Hive Blockchain. I am still to complete some backend steps. I hope writing and posting this will push things through for a better understanding.
