Tranquility at InCheon Airport 인천공항의 고즈넉함

I visited InCheon (ICN) Airport, the main entrance to Korea from the world yesterday. It was busy and crowded as always with tens of thousands of travelers.
세계로 향세계로 향하는 관문, 하는 관문, 하루에 수만명의 여행객들로 붐비는 인천공항에 갔습니다.

It seemed impossible to have a quiet moment let alone a good meal. I scanned the floors from B1 to 3F quickly for lunch. People were chatting loudly as they were waiting in lines crammed next to dozens of others to get some food at the restaurants. I looked up and found a small traditional Korean gate that intrigued my curiosity to take a look.
지하1층부터 3층까지 재빨리 훑어봤는데 적당히 점심 먹을 데가없더군요. 맛집이 아닌데도 사람들이 줄을 서서 기다리고 있었어요. 위를 올려다보니 기와가 보여서 가 보기로 했습니다.

They call it "Korean Cultural Street" and you can find it on the 4th floor of Terminal 1 at ICN airport.
인천공항 여객터미널 1의 4층에는 '한국 문화의 거리'가 있습니다.

When you walk through the gate, there is a small exhibition on Korean traditional culture focused on arts and crafts.
기와와 나무로 만든 대문을 통과하면, 오른편에 전통공예를 중심으로 한국문화를 보여주는 전시가 있습니다.

You can see the duty area from the bird eye's view.
면세점을 내려다 볼 수 있어요. 가서 쇼핑하고 싶다ㅎㅎ

And I found a great rice cake cafe around. Just go through the small gate and...
작은 대문 너머로 떡 카페가 보였어요.

Voila! This franchise cafe is called "Bizeun". They sell traditional Korean desserts and beverages.
짠! 프랜차이즈 떡, 전통차 카페인 '빚은'입니다.

I was happy to enjoy the small delicacy in the busy airport!
사람들로 붐비는 공항에서 작은 음식의 행복이라니!

And "airplanespotting" was a real fun. Especially when you can sit on a wooden pavillion and watch.
정자에 앉아서 비행기 이착륙을 구경할 수도 있어서 즐거웠어요.
