THE BAMBOUSERAIE

This garden is one of the most beautiful in Europe,
We visited it, a few years ago, in autumn,
and I hope to be able to go back next spring.

It is located in the heart of the Cevennes, in the south east of France.
It was created in 1856, by a man passionate about plants, Eugene Mazel.

It is composed of several Asian themes:

• The Bambousarium:

Bamboo, what an extraordinary plant !!!
Some of the Graminaceae family grow very fast, like Giant Bamboo,
who can push a meter in 24 hours !!

If you want to plant, think carefully before,
because many varieties are rhizomes tracing and you can quickly be invaded ...
I saw through the bitumen roads!

• The Laotian village:

The strength of bamboo is amazing look at this house !!

It is also used for the manufacture of baskets, furniture, utensils of life
daily.

• Japanese Garden, Dragon Valley:

What a relaxation in this magical place,
We hear the noise of the river, browse this enchanting landscape.

The purple maple is my favorite.

The conifers carved in the shape of clouds leave dreamer ...

It reminds me of a poem my mother read to me,
when I was a kid:

"A small garden to walk around
and immensity to dream.
At his feet, one can grow and gather,
On his head what can be studied
and meditate,
Some flowers on the ground
And all the stars in the sky "

We continue the visit by crossing the Phoenix Pavilion,
built in red cedar, this place lends itself to deep meditation ...
