Bitcoin new high Augest 4 2017

New all time high for bitcoin this evening. I saw it hit 179.00 on coinbase but I have heard as much as 3216.00 on other exchanges.
My guess is large amounts of Bitcoin cash being swapped for Bitcoin. Im guessing it will settle down after awhile but I have no info on how long this process may take.
Anyone else have any ideas of what this latest spike is all about?
