Art Explosion Week 33. Theme: Surreal.

Hello. I made this drawing for @juliakponsford’s art contest week 33.
This week theme was “surreal” and since most of my drawing ideas have a tendency for not making any sense I wanted to participate. So anyways, here’s the drawing:

Looks ugly I know, that’s pretty much my style?

So this is basically a scene of someone dying and going to hell? With a videogame chatbox? And satan’s a cat? Who knows? It doesn’t even have to make sense. Now a very tiny description about the process:

Shadows. Made in a clipping layer over the colors with the overlay option and using the airbrush tool.

Background. Again with the paint bucket.

Effects. Made in a layer with the multiply option with the paint bucket with the aid of the airbrush.

Forgot to add some smoke effects on that cigarette...
