Sharing to you our early in the morning unplanned hike to Handurawan Viewdeck, located on the highest part of Lake Maragang Campsite at Mt. Timolan.

There were lots of signage along our way to the viewdeck, but I only had my chance to take a photo with this one because our time was running. We need to reach the viewdeck before 7am.

The trail's difficulty is only 5/10, but the mud made it more difficult. It was raining all night, and the trail was not really friendly to us. The ascent is taking our breath away too.
My friend actually slid and hurt her back, but I had no picture of it because we were too focus on the hardest part.

And this is the Handuraawn Viewdeck. Before getting to the actual viewdeck, we had to climb a 10 ft. ladder. I was so amazed on how it was built. It took strong and patient people to successfully built this one, given the high ascent and muddy road.

Welcome to Handurawan Viewdeck! You can view the whole Lake Maragang from here. It was so beautiful. I am looking forward to go back here soon.
BTW, while we were here, we're actually planning to climb the Mt. Timolan Peak, but it would take us 8 hours just to the peak, and it's not a part of our itineraries anymore.
