Steemit Blockchain platform doesn't allow to delete post completely

As we know about steemit blockchain is a blogging platform. It allows users to write a blog on any interesting topic whatever they like.  If someone Write a blog on steemit, no can delete the post completely. 


There are only two way to hide or alter the released post from steemit:-


(a)    Edit the post and save it.


(b)    Go to edit section and delete the post and publish the same subject post as a black post.


After 07 days of the edited post cannot be edited further in future.


What do you think about blockchain blogging platform, is it advantage or disadvantage of blockchain?
