Polimitas
La polimita es uno de los caracoles más bellos del mundo, son endémicos de Cuba, específicamente de la región de Guantánamo por lo que están protegidos. Hubo un tiempo donde peligraron debido a que muchas personas los querían como souvenirs.
En esta ocasión me habían regalado varios por lo que no resistí la tentación de fotografiarlos con mi cámara Canon D60.

The polimita is one of the most beautiful snails in the world. They are endemic to Cuba, specifically to the Guantanamo region, which is why they are protected. There was a time when they were in danger because many people wanted them as souvenirs.
On this occasion, I had been given several of them, so I could not resist the temptation to photograph them with my Canon D60 camera.
