Finally: The disproportionate hero we need

He is merely a man with a sword, a large cranium, and a very long neck. Some say he was in a hot and heavy relationship with a Giant, and the two of them would take turns choking each other. Others say he gut stuck on the way out of the womb and the doctor pulled on his head a little too hard, for too long. However it happened, I'm glad he is alive to fight off this dragon/lizard monster with which he is entangled.

This is a sketch I did probably a decade ago, I was going through some old files recently and found this scan from 2014, so it's at least that old.
Should I do more of this character? What should his name be? I'm thinking something like Captain Neckulon, or maybe just Steve.

As you can see, I've played around with his look a bit, I'm partial to the sketched version.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, please use your creativity to pitch ideas for his backstory, his motivations. All I have right now is a couple sketches.
