A few lines on Misunderstanding
Whatever I said...
Whatever you heard...
Was nothing but misunderstanding,
We were many light-years apart!
You heard what you wanted to
That's all I can say
Misunderstanding was the thing
That took our happiness away!

It is funny how you can be right next to a person and still be light-years apart as you say. Clever bit. It is a tragedy how interpretation can steal so much form us. I quite like your poem. I also write poetry and am looking to build a network of poetry type friends on steemit. I'd be very pleased if you took a meander to my blog and checked it out.
