So many!
Looking through all the different posts, it's hard to find a succulent that looks the same as another. I see so many different variants that it's kinda overwhelming.
I recently started growing succulents in my unit and would love to include as many variants as possible. Maybe start with the ones that are easy to propagate so if i fail i can easily try again. 😆
If anyone knows any sources i can check out for this kinda information, please let me know. My girlfriend is also interested in growing more so anything helps.

Firstly, where do you live? Location and the quantity of sun and light you have available.
A general rule of thumb is that the cheaper a succulent is, the easier it is to grow and that's a good place to start. Some succulents don't need much sun and others do, so base your choices on what the light is like where you live.

Thanks! ya we have noticed the cheaper ones are always in the many. We have about 2 or 3 variants of the easy ones and maybe 2 of the harder ones, we should really start cataloging them.
We're located in Toronto, Canada and currently facing west. The only direct daylight we get is afternoon/evening sun. currently everything is indoor but we would like to grow some outdoors that are all seasons, is there such a succulent?
Oof, Canada is a hard one for outdoor succulent growing and afternoon sun is never great for plants. Sempervivum, aka houseleeks are the only candidate that comes to mind and then they should be planted in the ground, not left in pots. They are alpine succulents native to Europe so they can handle the snow and pretty fierce sunlight.
Most growers I know from forums in that part of the world stick to indoor/outdoor growing cycles
Yes, my parents have these plants in his garden and they always look amazing. If that's the case then we would probably go for the indoor/outdoor cycle with potted plants. I did not consider the afternoon sun to be harsh but it makes sense. We have some grow lights that we could use instead of natural sun light. I will post some photos when we are more established. 👍
