Facebook and Instagram are DOWN
Unverified rumors say that this is a cyberattack against Facebook and Instagram.

I used vpn to find a country where facebook is accessible and was able to login but everything in there loads extremely slowly. People are totally freaking out and having serious withdrawal effects.

It was real. Most of the USA east coast had big problems connecting to facebook. Many countries around the world had little smaller connection issues to facebook. Same thing was with instagram. Twitter was filled with crying facebook addicts that were suffering from withdrawal. :D
