Here is my third study of gouache painting which is the Three Lemons.
I have lemon yellow on my Himi Gouache so I will play around with it.
The first layer, I just did a loose painting like watercolor using the lemon yellow color.
For the second layer, I added more thickness of the lemon-yellow color.
The third layer, I just created a shadow on the right side of the lemon. I just added a little blue on lemon-yellow.
For the highlights, I added white on the left side.
To finish the lemon, I added leaves and stems.
There you go! Here is my lemon using gouache paint.
