Countries where bitcoins are illegal

While the value and use of bitcoins are rapidly increasing, there are many countries which have banned them and which are still in confusion whether to use it or not.

Countries that have banned Bitcoins.

  1. Algeria (Africa) :
    According to the "Journal Officiel" (28 December 2017):Art. 117. — The purchase, sale, use and holding of so-called
    virtual currency is prohibited. Virtual currency is that used by internet users via the web. It is characterized by the
    absence of physical support such as coins, notes, payments by cheque or credit card. Any breach of this provision is
    punishable in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.

  2. Bangladesh (asia):
    if you're caught trading in bitcoin in Bangladesh, it could lead to legal trouble under the Foreign Currency Control
    Act of 1947 and the Money Laundering Control Act of 2012.

  3. Nepal (Asia):
    The Nepalese government banned bitcoin on account of not being able to track its transactions, and it has gone so
    far as to arrest individuals (approx. 7 individuals) suspected of trading bitcoin.

  4. Morocoo (Africa):
    Banned from November, 2017

  5. Ecuador (South America)

  6. Kyrgyzstan(Asia)

  7. Bolivia(South America)

Many countries have accepted Bitcoins. But, will this countries accept it in the coming future? Let us be optimistic and let us all pray for its more rapid development.
