It wasn't so bad after all

 
It wasn't so bad after all,
to have him only occasionally,
the time shared, a beautiful ritual,
between laughter and dreams, golden moments.
I liked the feeling in the air,
a murmur of promises without end,
knowing that the shadow of his journey
will bring in its wake a love without equal.
Those instants, unique and alive,
where our destinies intertwine,
and although time is a furtive thief,
her smile is my divine refuge.
There is no goodbye, only a see you later,
a dance of glances and echoes,
at each reunion I awaken the fire,
the spark of love that never grows old.
After all, time becomes
a subtle ally in this journey,
for I know that in its embrace, the heart bites,
doubts dissipate, only poetry remains.)
