Mitchel Starc is The Number One Bowler Of Test Cricket !

Few days ago I wrote about the test match bilateral series which Bangladesh played against Australia. It was a two match series and the two sides seemingly gave out their best to secure a win. Unfortunately, at the worst of the match performance and Bangladesh outperforming Australia in all the sessions and the batting and bowling units, it clearly showed a serious commitment that the emerging stronger test playing nations like Bangladesh which the players deserve to win.

Bangladesh having secured a historical victory was in a bit of over self satisfaction, which is that they are not being able to adjust to the sudden storms that Australian bowling department could bring in any given day where there sole chances may come. In the second match, losing the toss Bangladesh was sent to bat first and the less experienced top order couldn’t hold their breaths in the crease for a moments time.

This is what Australia wanted so much and the bowling figures really show what Aussie pacers are capable of. They at one side naturally kept the hot oven warmer for letting the batters get unstable and uncomfortable and that two distress really didn’t let a single margin to perform well and then, it all was a serious downfall for opener. First man who faced Starc's first ball, that they really couldn’t even think of the fact that somehow the batter wouldn’t handle the first bowl that was thrown to him.

It was the first ball of the match and then the batter couldn’t just keep an eye on the ball and defend it. What he really suffered was the pace and bounce which tall guy Starc offered and what was true that all of it was the natural variation that Starc had mattered most. He still carrying the usual threat right at the moment when he can grow well and even take a brilliant spell of 6 wickets for 12 runs and in any test match if the top order collapses in such fast pace, you can't just make any contribution for a win.

Bangladesh lost all of their wickets for a regular interval and that says that, not scoring more than 64 runs was nothing but a "clear and unconditional surrender" to the opponent. They had to adjust for the bigger part and then when Bangladesh fought back pretty much, they really had to see the end of how the process moves forward.

Starc's figure is something that really mattered the most. He is still the number one bowler toppling the other pace bowler, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins. The other two pacers can make the opposition to be in dancing shoes with their pace attack. But things have changed from that time. Now Starc single handedly can raise the storm and consistently facilitate the task of the Aussy batter to perform well and defend the total and help to move the lead even further.

Its a phenomenon that helped the Australian cricket so much. We have a stronger and emerging Australia after Ricky Ponting era just because that Starc acted as a consistent performer of Australian cricket in all formats of the game.

When I do look at the Australian side it gives me a good impression of their incoming success. They have a good base of players in the pipeline and a strong determination to play for the national team and both the domestic cricket. Its really good that they are having success for most part of their cricketing infrastructure.

When I do hear the news that Starc became the number one bowler in Test cricket, it never amazes me. I think of the fact that they have the capacity to grow forth, evolve playing and producing quality spinners in every decades time. This is a positive trend that each nation should utilise and emerge strongly at the end of the day.

Bangladesh lost not because the Bangladeshi batters do not know how to play well. But that the momentum of the match is turned upside down by the bowling attack led by Starc. There are possibly other series to be played in the fixtures this year. This indicates Australia do have a good time ahead of their sporting season. All is what needed is to remain consistent and perform brilliantly every time and evolve so much too.
