Sometime life kicks your butt and its hard to get back up.
Hey guys, Asteel here again.
Lately I have been very sick. I am trying to gather myself and start feeling like myself again but I just have no energy in general.

Today I am jumping on here after falling asleep twice in my chair while watching Youtube. I just have no energy at all. Though thanks to the cheering of my friends in TheTerminal I have found at least enough energy to write this short blog post.
I am still in good spirits. It is not a depression issue I was just sick all week last week followed by Hurricane Ida and all the anxiety that came with it. (I live about a mile from the beach very close to where Ida made landfall.) Thankfully Chrissy and I am ok, my car is ok, and I lost no property this time. I guess I cannot ask for anything more.
I remember after hurricane Katrina not having power for months.
(Chrissy and I had a hard time sleeping during the hurricane so we just sort of sat near each other to chill.)
Thank you all for reading and helping me feel as though there are people who genuinely like to read what I write. It is so helpful to my confidence. And very cathartic in general.

Some years ago, the first time I went to therapy I was advised to “write down notes” about my deepest, darkest feelings so it can help me make them go away, at the time I didn't believe much in the power of doing so but I've come to realize later on that 'sharing' is really effective, whether it be random thoughts on a piece of paper (notes) just like I'm doing right now or maybe, music? Writing about music? Talking to Chrissy? Talking about talking to Chrissy? What I'm trying to say is... I understand, and I appreciate you taking the time to share a little bit about what you're going through (..God it started to feel like Group-Therapy..) — I mean, sometimes life kicks you in the butt, but at least we have a Chrissy! I wish you feel better soon, buddy, and I hope I didn't cause you a headache with all this, lol...

So sorry to hear about your bad health recently.
I'm just glad you are showing signs of getting better (if I understand correctly).
Also glad you didn't suffer too much damage from the storm.
Try to take it slowly at first and just remain calm, so that you can recover properly and build up some energy again.

Thank you Jocalberts I really appreciate you! I am a good bit sick but I am hoping to figure it out. I have a doctor appointment on Wednesday. Hopefully they can help me figure out this chronic fatigue.

PROUD member is the best compliment to get. Friendships on hive are possible! I can Image the fear a hurricane can produce and or anxiety. Thank god it’s a bit less heavy I saw on the news. Great that eventhough you don’t feel good you wrote a blog.

What a pitiful situation, the unfortunate part of this is that nobody can be held accountable for such natural disaster like a hurricane, I so much thank God for your life at least when there is life there is hope and also thank God you didn't lost any property but your health your family and your property are in good condition that's cause for joy, it's obvious that we over here in Africa I'm so much blessed that we have not for once witnessed hurricane in our lifetime we just keep hearing about it in the news and all social platforms but yet to witness it and I don't think it's something to be witnessed because according to what I read and what I've seen online it's so disastrous anyways I pray may God keep protecting you guys from all these natural disasters
