Nephilim? Not quite. One would be forgiven for such a postulate. The Nephilim are almost entirely gone from the memory of the world. They exist only in the most distant dreams, in the dark unknowns of the World Garden.

This beast is a proto angel. Yes! Before even the angels existed, there were Others. Early experiments on the part of the EdenStar. The Star fashioned these early servants from the very fabric of the firmament, using a device called a World Loom. These creatures were woven from cosmic Strings, and populated the early universe; at home in the endless thunder of Creation.

When the first stars woke up, these creatures moved on; forgotten by the EdenStar which was now focused on more refined creations...
