Why is Contributing on Steemit so Profitable?

Simply put.. high speculation of Steem and low contribution on Steemit.

The reason a content creator is able to get over $1k from a single post on Steemit, with such few views and interactions, is because people are paying such high prices for Steem. Speculators are buying these coins in hopes that they’ll be worth more in the future.

For anyone posting, commenting, or voting on Steemit, this is a gold mine! With such few contributors in contrast to so many speculative dollars, the scales are certainly tipped in the contributors favor.

At least for the time being.

As long as speculation remains high, and the number of contributors low, there will be large amounts of money to be made on Steemit.

Obviously if Steemit becomes less popular in the future, speculators will eventually pull their investment dollars. Likewise, if Steemit becomes more popular, there will likely be more contributors as a result, thus diluting the amount of tokens being distributed.

So we’re in a very profitable time for contributing on Steemit. The special combination of high speculation and low contribution.
