Khedira: Finally playing with Ronaldo again

Sami Khedira can't wait to start a new season with Juventus. Khedira was also very excited about returning to a team with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Khedira and Ronaldo had previously been at Real Madrid for five seasons. They work together to deliver Madrid to win La Liga (2011/2012), Copa del Rey (2010/2011 and 2013/2014), and the Champions League (2013/2014).

After Khedira moved to Juventus in 2015, Ronaldo followed him this summer. CR7 joined the Bianconeri after being redeemed for 100 million euros.

The defending champions will start Serie A this season by facing Chievo at home on Saturday (08/18/2018). There are opportunities for Khedira and Ronaldo to appear since the first minute.

"We started again on Saturday in Verona!" Khedira wrote on his Instagram account.

"I can't wait to start the new season. It feels fantastic to play with Ronaldo again after we were together at Real Madrid," he said.
