Splinterlands Journey Log 001

I only happen to come across Splinterlands while browsing through the comments section of a TikTok on blockchain games. Little did I know then that I'll be invested in this game. Not because it's play to earn, I consider that as a bonus, but, if I'm being completely honest, I've been very bored with the games I've been playing on my phone, and Splinterlands took away that boredom.

I never really liked auto-battle games before but this is different. Yes, sure, the battles still automatically play, but it's different because it's not something someone could just randomly click and win. I have to focus my attention on the cards I'm choosing and their placements. I also have to pay close attention to the opponent and their cards. I even have to check the timer every now and then so I won't run out of time.

It's been really enjoyable for me, so I do not think that I'll be stopped from playing this game any time soon. Especially since there's still so much to learn about the gameplay, the summoners, and monsters. I'm just really glad I found another game to add to my favorites.
