Differences in size
The megalodon or megalodon, name that means "big tooth", derived from the Greek terms is an extinct species of shark that lived approximately between 19.8 and 2.6 million years ago, during the Cenozoic. It was considered one of the largest and most powerful predators in the history of vertebrates, probably had a very important influence on the structure of the marine communities of his time.
