Roses

Rivers of Aqua with cold rushing streams,
Lobster and wine on a warm summer night,
Memories of Christmas in hour long dreams,
Diamonds and gems that sparkle so bright.
Roses of red with the perfect shapes,
A wondrous perfume, scenting flowers in the air,
Mountains of green making wholesome landscapes,
Beautiful horses with long flowing hair
Though all of these things are things that I love,
More precious are you then all the above.
The roses of red shall be handed to you
When you accept my hand, commitment ensues.
And lobster and wine on a warm wedding night,
The Diamonds and Gems on your ring oh so bright.
Looking out to the mountains, I show you a star,
That almost compares to how beautiful you are.
Then I look in your eyes, and you look at me,
And we kiss a small kiss,
Making long memories.
