I took this photo while getting lost on some random back road in Oregon.

I’m very spontaneous in nature and love finding secluded areas such as this. I believe that the best memories are the moments when you unexpectedly come upon some scenic beauty or meet wonderful people. There’s a reason surprises generate such excitement.

This location is called Myrtle Creek. It’s a tiny town just north of Medford, Oregon.

If you are ever driving through Oregon I highly recommend visiting this area!!!! It is a lot more beautiful in person.

Although I love photography and do it professionally, I believe that it is impossible to capture the emotion and beauty of a location to the full extent. To actually live and be present in the situation is more of value than any photo. And yes, artwork can exact powerful emotion- however, there is nothing of higher value than to travel and experience God’s artwork for yourself.
