How Bullets Save Land and Animals

I was on youtube just now and i came across a video from the Vlog Brothers Link 

It was on a little know law in America called the Robertson Pittman Act 

The Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act of 1937, most often referred to as the Pittman–Robertson Act for its sponsors, Nevada Senator Key Pittman and Virginia Congressman Absalom Willis Robertson

I had never heard of this law before and it was surprising to note that Money from gun sales go towards lard acquisition while hunting licenses are going down.
