Christmas is upon us

Favorite time of the year

Christmas, most probable to be the busiest time of the year for everyone. From shopping for gifts, cooking, to coordinating trips to visit family, everyone can agree this time of the year can be very exciting.

I'd have to say though, Christmas this time around definitely snuck up on me. Personally, 2017 has been a wild ride, a positive one at that. From getting through busy season at work (the summer), to getting married (as I mentioned in my first post), unfortunately to recent family death (grandfather), theres no better way to cap the year off rather than close friends and family time. Finally got all of my gift shopping complete, taking heavy pride in being able to get my wife her present (of which I cannot disclose because she does read my posts).

However, the best gift I've recieved all year besides getting married is the sense of inner peace and the ability to use that clarity to propel 2018 into a more productive year. Not to sound cliche but I truly believe this is best gift I've recieved all year, not only for personal reasons exclusively but most importantly for the benefit of my close friends and family; in hopes to be able to contribute even in the smallest ways. We can only hope for the best for the year to come.
