Yasuo is a Japanese name specifically for boys. According to the different sources of Chinese characters in Japanese, there are different meanings, for example: guardian, safe life, healthy husband, quiet man ...
Though his name is not Yasuo, whose name was placed after he entered the martial arts school, his master hoped the name would control his wildness. According to this source, the meaning of safe life or quiet man is quite suitable, but Riot chose Chinese in the sense of healthy husbands. However, in many countries, Vietnam uses the Roman phonetic name Yasuo.
Yasuo's image is very similar to Musashi - the strongest guest in the history of Japan. Fighting face, ponytail, Yasuo's fighting style is extremely similar to Musashi's Nhi Thien Nhat Luu.
Yasuo's moves are similar to the protagonist in Samurai Shodown II, whose appearance is also sampled from Musashi.
The presence of a swordsman, many of the swordsmen and masters in RPG / MMO design, can also cause massive damage, especially with the ability to roll over.
