TABLE OF LIFE

This poem -written by me (Azeez Olayiwola)- talks about the instability in life. We have seen people of great wealth turning out poor and many from the squalor of poverty coming out wealthy.

Well, this poem does not mention those who live their lives all through in wealthiness or poorness yet, in general we need to know that life is unstable for our riches and poverty are best rated by peace of mind.

In wide scope, it illustrates change in status quo.

TABLE OF LIFE

In the glory of the stream of light
Fly the birds at every height
Squeak, squawk they soar and glide
What a world! So beautified!

In the gory heat of fight
Caged the birds very much tight
Helter-skelter their feathers marred
What a world! So uglified!

Let those over forget not that nests are set under
And those under forget not situations get over
