Stuck

STUCK....

So I got used to the dark
Light, he promised
Darkness, I got the whole time

Lips quivering and eyes filled with tears
I looked up at the heavens with hope for answers
Dark clouds stared back at my face drained of hope

I screamed for help
For answers to the pain
For an awakening
Yet even louder was the thunderous sound of silence I got in return

Answers I was denied,
So I got used to the dark.

Each moment passed and we became closer.

More like a convenant marriage that only death can put asunder...

We took our heart and gave it to one another

I took to fate.. And gave up dreaming

Took our eyes out and gave up seeing

It is still dark but we keep on moving. #STUCK
