I AM ME

Once..
I tried to sing, *"you're too much loud!"* I tried to draw, *"your art is odd"* I tried to dance, *"are you a toad?"*
I wish...
I can sing a song of what's inside me I can draw things just the way I see I can dance because I can dance freely
I wish I can do these things because I can be.
I wonder each day when this time will come, When I can be free and criticisms are all gone. Yes! I'm different but at least I'm free At last! I can do the things I wanna be
Because I can be, Because I am free, **Because I am me.**
